Hours first, because people are walking over

A café visitor usually has one question. Are you open right now. They ask it standing on a corner, thumb on a screen, half a block away.

Second Shift Coffee is a made-up café for this example. Its sentence says 6am-2pm every day, so the draft puts those hours in the first lines of the page. One line covers the whole week, which is easy to read on a small screen.

If your hours change on weekends or holidays, type each day. The draft only shows the hours you gave it.

A menu people can read in line

Coffee menus get read while people wait. Keep the menu on your page short and in the order you sell things: espresso drinks, filter and pour-over, tea, then food.

Prices are worth adding. A customer who sees a $4 latte before arriving has no surprise at the till. Type your prices and ask for them beside each item.

When the menu changes for a season, describe it plainly. "Add a pumpkin latte to the drinks list until November" is enough. The old menu comes back with one undo.

Help people find the door

Cafés live on foot traffic and short drives. Give your street address in the sentence, plus anything a first visitor needs to know.

Useful lines include the nearest cross street, where to park, and whether you have outdoor seats. Mention if you have wifi and outlets, since remote workers look for that. If you share a building with other shops, say which door is yours. Leave out anything you have not decided, and the page leaves it out too.

Food, milk and what it says on the label

Breakfast sandwiches and pastries bring dietary questions. Customers ask about oat milk, gluten and nuts.

The draft lists only what you tell it. Say "we have oat and almond milk" and that line appears. It will not mark a sandwich vegan or gluten free unless you said so.

Snow days, holidays and short notice

A café that opens at 6am feels every surprise closure. A burst pipe, a sick barista or a snowstorm can shut the doors before sunrise.

Put a short notice at the top of the page when that happens. Type "closed today for snow, back tomorrow at 6am" and the banner appears once its check passes. Remove it the next morning with one more line.

Holiday hours work the same way. Add them a week ahead, so the people who stop in before their shift can plan around them.

Questions

Can my café website show different hours for each day?

Yes. Type the hours for each day in your sentence, or ask for the change later in plain words.

Can I update the menu when prices change?

Yes. Describe the new prices and the page updates. Syndai checks each change before it goes live, and you can undo it.

Will the site use photos of my coffee shop?

No, it has no photos of your shop. If you ask for pictures, it uses free-licence stock images until you add your own.

Can AI fully build a website?

Yes, for a one-page café site it can write a first draft from your facts. You still check the hours, prices and address, and add your own photos.
