Add your ChatGPT plan to Syndai with the connect command: a few steps, a deep link, how we verify it, and how to disconnect.
Connect your ChatGPT plan: run the connect command, then confirm on both sides.
Steps
- Copy the connect command from the portal and run it. It starts a
codex loginin an isolated location, so Syndai holds its own login and never touches your laptop's. - Approve the ChatGPT sign-in in the browser window Codex opens. (open the page)
- Confirm the phrase and hostname in the portal, then click Approve.
Verifying
Confirmed with codex login status, then Syndai runs its existing free-usage read; the plan connects only on success.
If it doesn't work
If codex isn't installed, install it and rerun the command, or use the fallback: drop your ~/.codex/auth.json into the paste box. The fallback shares your laptop's own login, while the command keeps Syndai's login separate, which is why we prefer it.
What we store and how to disconnect
We store the encrypted Codex login (auth.json), never your ChatGPT password. Disconnect scrubs it from Syndai. To fully revoke it upstream, log out of all devices in your ChatGPT settings.
