Sentry integration

Syndai's Sentry integration turns a Sentry issue you select or approve into a fix pull request. Connect your Sentry organization and map a project to a repository. Syndai can then diagnose the issue and open the pull request.

What it does

• Reads your issues. With your permission, Syndai reads the unresolved issues in a Sentry project you choose.
• Fixes the issue you choose. You select an issue, or approve a new error that Syndai surfaced. An autonomous coding agent investigates the root cause in the mapped repository and opens a pull request with the fix.
• Keeps you in control. Every fix is a pull request you review before it merges. Nothing is changed in your Sentry organization.

Permissions

The integration requests read-only scopes only:

• Issue & Event: Read, to read the unresolved issues Syndai works on.
• Project: Read, to list the projects in your organization.
• Organization: Read, so Syndai knows which organization it is linked to.

Syndai never requests write access to Sentry and never modifies your Sentry data.

Setup

Setup takes about a minute and happens entirely inside the Syndai portal.

1. Connect. In the Syndai portal, open Sentry and click Connect Sentry. You are redirected to Sentry to authorize the integration for your organization.
2. Confirm your organization. After you authorize, you return to Syndai. Syndai shows the organization it received (derived from the connection itself, not from the browser) and asks you to confirm it is yours. Confirming activates the connection.
3. Map a project to a repository. Choose a Sentry project and the repository whose issues it should fix. That mapping is the link Syndai uses to route an issue to the right codebase.

Turning an issue into a fix

There are two ways an issue becomes a coding run:

• Pick one. On the Sentry page, expand Recent Sentry issues on a connected repository to see its unresolved issues from the last 30 days. Click Start fix run on any issue and Syndai opens a coding run that investigates and fixes it, then links you to the run so you can follow along.
• Automatically. When a new error appears in a connected project, Syndai receives it, diagnoses it, and adds it to the Self-heal queue in the portal for your decision. Open Self-heal, review the diagnosis, and either approve it to dispatch a fix run or dismiss it.

Either way, the result is a pull request you review.

Disconnecting

You can uninstall the Syndai app at any time. In Sentry, go to Settings → Integrations → Syndai → Uninstall. Syndai stops reading that organization at once and marks the connection revoked. Your existing pull requests are unaffected.
