Connect your ChatGPT plan

Add your ChatGPT plan to Syndai from the portal: a few steps, a deep link, how we verify it, and how to disconnect.

Connect your ChatGPT plan: start from the Connect button in the portal, then approve the sign-in.

Steps

  1. In the portal, click Connect a plan and pick ChatGPT. The portal shows a link and a short code. No terminal, no install.
  2. Open the link, enter the code, and approve the ChatGPT sign-in. Syndai mints its OWN login, separate from your laptop's. (open the page)
  3. The portal detects the approval and connects the plan. Nothing else to do.

Verifying

Confirmed by Syndai's existing free-usage read on the freshly minted login; the plan connects only on success.

If it doesn't work

If the code lapses, click "Start again" for a fresh one. Or use the fallback: drop your ~/.codex/auth.json into the paste box. The fallback shares your laptop's own login, while the in-portal flow keeps Syndai's login separate, which is why we prefer it.

What we store and how to disconnect

We store the encrypted Codex login (auth.json), never your ChatGPT password. Disconnect scrubs it from Syndai. To fully revoke it upstream, log out of all devices in your ChatGPT settings.
