Production-ready PR

A pull request that arrives built, tested, and tightly scoped, so it can be reviewed and merged without a round of rework.

"Production-ready" names the gap between code that was generated and code that can land. A production-ready PR compiles. It passes the project's own checks. It follows the house style. It stays inside its stated scope. And it explains itself, with commit messages, a description, and test results a reviewer can use.

The phrase caught on as a quality bar for agent output. Coding agents rarely fail on syntax. They fail on plausible half-work: code that looks done, compiles, and still needs a human to rewrite a third of it. Counting mergeable PRs instead of generated lines is the fix.

For reviewers the test is simple. Did reviewing this PR cost less than writing it yourself? If it did not, the PR was not production-ready.
