EU AI Act Article 12: prove what your AI agent did
Deploying AI agents in Europe means you have to prove what they did. The EU AI Act asks high-risk systems to keep records on their own. Article 12 calls for automatic logs over the life of the system, so events stay traceable. A trustworthy record also needs to be hard to change after the fact. Syndai does both for every run. It signs a receipt, and the receipt is the record.
The record is the hard part
Your lawyer can tell you which rules apply. What they can not do is hand an auditor a signed record of what your agent did. That record is the part teams get stuck on, and it is the part Syndai owns.
An auditor will not take a raw log. Splunk, Datadog, and ELK show your team what happened, but nothing signs those logs, so nothing stops an edit. A manual write-up costs a lot and dies the moment the agent runs again. Syndai makes the record on its own, every run, at no extra step.
What Syndai signs
After a run, Syndai issues a signed receipt. It lists each condition, its result, the check that ran, and the checked file tree. It says how the team set the conditions. Syndai signs those fields, so a reader can see who made the record and if it changed.
When a condition has no passing check, the receipt says so. It never turns a gap into a pass. That is why the record holds up. An honest receipt is the one an auditor can trust.
You keep it, you share it, you prove it
The receipt belongs to the run owner. It is private until you publish a share link, and you can revoke that link later. A teammate with a live link sees the same signed record. Your data stays in your run. You decide who reads it.
Anyone can check the signature. That is the whole point. The check does not depend on trusting us.
Where Syndai stops, on purpose
Syndai gives you the record. Your counsel gives you the ruling. We do not stamp your system as compliant, because no honest tool can do that from a log file. We remove the hard part instead. You get a signed, verifiable record of what every agent did. It is ready the moment an auditor asks. The full list of what we may and may not claim is at /claims.

Syndai runs coding agents and signs what they did. Turn it on, and every run leaves a receipt you can read, share, and verify. No consulting engagement, no log pipeline to build. We wrote more in run receipts and welcome to Syndai.
Common questions
Does Syndai make me AI Act compliant? No. Syndai gives you a signed record of what your agent did. Your role and system class are a legal call your counsel makes. The receipt is the record that call can rest on.
Is the receipt written by the model? No. Syndai builds it from saved run and check records, then signs it. The model that did the work does not grade itself.
Can I keep receipts in my own storage? Yes. The receipt belongs to the run owner. You hold it and control the share link.
Does the signature mean the work was rerun elsewhere? No. The checks run in the authoring sandbox. A fresh-sandbox rerun is not live yet.
